They understand the needs of their consumers and retailers and are driving an exciting new product programme. To drive their success, they are strengthening their team with a National Account Manager to manage northern Europe with a particular focus on German retailers. We are developing  strong relationship with Edeka, Spar and other German grocery retailers.



The Opportunity:


The role is to develop business and sales strategy across Germany, Holland, Belgium, and the Nordics. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the German grocery market including use of multiple data systems. Reporting into the sales director, your key performance indicators will include driving profitable sales volume and managing local and national trade promotional spend. Developing relationships at a major multiple head office level cross functionally including buying, category and supply chain teams will be important.




  • You will be from an FMCG background that has provided you with classical sales training.
  • You will have worked with a German major multiple as a National Account Manager that has given you real insight into a major multiple and its methods.
  • You will have previous experience of working with multiple sales out data and data providers to be able to interpret this data to help build commercial proposals.
  • An ability to negotiate at a level that maintains and builds the long-term relationship with a major multiple is essential.
  • Fluency in German and English essential and interviews will be carried out in German and English.
