Job description – Sales Administrator

Our client provide fluid dynamics solutions that are engineered for flawless precision operation in high-performance, often harsh and demanding conditions. Serving: Formula 1, WRC, WEC, hyper-car and super-car clients.

 

They have been continuously present on the Formula 1 grid for 38 years and have been used on 34 Formula 1 drivers and 33 constructors’ championship cars!

 

Job Purpose

Our client are looking to recruit a proactive individual to work in a new role encompassing customer service and inside sales account management.

 

The main purpose of this position is to:

 

  • Deliver an exceptionally high level of customer service.
  • Be reachable, approachable and provide prompt response times.
  • Eliminate friction and maximise the velocity of the sales process.
  • Drive speed and completeness of response from enquiry to delivery.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients ensuring minimisation of time from; enquiry to response, enquiry to quote and quote to delivery.
  • Establish and sustain excellent client relationships.  Anticipate client needs.
  • Input and progress client orders.  Including order confirmation and keeping clients dynamically informed.
  • Pricing coordination and sign-off / referral
  • Sales reporting and analysis
  • CRM updates (Zendesk)
  • Periodic client visits, as well as occasional exhibition / event support

 

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Meticulous, methodical and accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable in approach to work with the ability balance competing priorities
  • Able to work well as part of a team and to tight deadlines 
  • Superb interpersonal and communications skills
  • Technically aware or interest– able to work in: highly technical specifications, multiple units of measure (imperial, metric), as well as multiple currencies.  Keen to develop product knowledge and become an expert.
  • Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
  • Exceptional ability to interact with and positively impact clients.
  • Anticipates deadlines.
  • Competent in: Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
