National Account Manager,Sainsbury, Asda, Co-op (6237/10v)

The Opportunity:

• Identify new distribution opportunities in customer portfolio.
• Gain new business in prospect customers.
• Develop effective JBP’s.
• Plan and implement trade marketing activity.
• Assess and understand channel dynamics, informing the business of key insights.
• Track competitor activity in customers.
• Spread knowledge of channel, customers and plans to internal stakeholders.
• Complete budgets and forecasts as required by the supply team.
• Report on customer performance with time bound plans in response if required.
• Be a major input on annual and long-term strategic planning to help shape our future.

 

 

You:

• Significant experience of UK Grocery market.
• Held a NAM or equivalent role responsible for 1 or more of the big 4 Grocers.
• Management of Sainsbury’s, Co-Op, Asda preferred.
• Online channel experience.
• Branded FMCG experience, ideally chilled.
• Experience of creating your own growth plans for customers.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Proven selling and negotiation experience.
• Category management and data interpretation skills.
