Our client is a food manufacturer with a range of products that are used extensively within restaurants and caterers. Their products are used mainly in meal preparation, but some can be packed for use front of house. Due to increased demand from the foodservice sector they now require a National Account manager to drive sales growth in their food service business.
Reporting to the Account Controller, you will support the Controller in managing a range of National and regional food service wholesalers. To ensure effective long-term sales growth you will develop and maintain long-term relationships with the head offices where you will have P&l responsibility. With the controller you will support the implementation of the sales strategies and promotional activity that will grow their long-term sales.
Of graduate calibre, candidates must be able to demonstrate experience and success in foodservice market and have strong business development skills. You will have managed accounts such as Caterforce, Sterling or Windsor food service.
You must possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and numerate skills. Currently you will be a National Account Executive who desires the commercial independence to really make a difference or a National Account Manager looking to move to a new and dynamic business.
