Our client, a fast-moving, successful and growing food company are looking for an experienced Field Sales Executive to join their team. This is a combination of management and account development.

 

The role:

•              Create the Annual Sales Budget in conjunction with other departments

•              Responsible for the Customer Business Plan

•              Manage and develop Foodservice sales team

•              Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, building strong relationships with the external partners and consumers and regularly interact with them.

•              Manage the customer contact strategy – site visits, NPD, market data

•              Full responsibility of organising Trade Shows including – booking venue, stand, documentation, accommodation, samples and personnel

•              Analysis of risks and opportunities ensuring Gap close planning is in place.

•              Ensure close monitoring of delivery versus forecast and gap close.

•              Work closely with Marketing team on all brand & customer presentations

•              Takes a proactive approach in identifying teams needs and strengths to develop accordingly.

•              Identifying opportunities for collaboration with people in and outside the business.

•              Acts as a role model for inspiring, enabling and empowering staff. Actively promotes the business.

•              Coordinates and manages the distribution of human and financial resources as though it's their own business. Improve our culture on business awareness.

•              Sets clearly defined work with S.M.A.R.T. development/DRIVEN objectives for self and team, reviews them, and prepared to change as per business demands.

 

You:

•              A driven National Account Manager who already deals with multiple levels in the Foodservice sector both National & Regional.

•              Highly successful background in FMCG sales, ideally in food and HORECA

•              Able to make things happen and a strong background in planning, delivering, and executing a sales strategy that resulted in high growth

•              Previously been or currently working within the Foodservices, Manufacturing sector and will understand how to build and maintain a triangular relationship between the brand owner, distributor and end user.

•              Be fiercely driven and have a passion to succeed

It’s a dynamic business, located in modern offices with a high-grade NPD facility in Dublin; our client is a successful, fast-growing food company managing branded Frozen, Chilled and Ambient ranges which are sourced internationally.
 

The company owns its own portfolio of brands and supplies a range of food products to leading Foodservice, Retail and Industrial customers. Added value Poultry (e.g. breadcrumb coated & marinated), Raw fresh/frozen poultry & seafood products are core ranges along with Added Value/Convenience meat products.

 

Sales are for the most part in Ireland & GB. In addition, Dubai & Singapore sales offices were established in 2011 & 2019 respectively.

 

Our client works with a close network of European and Global supply partners and has NPD & Technical personnel based full-time in Ireland and close to its suppliers’ sites around the world. Their job is to work closely with producer-partners to develop products and monitor adherence to standards.
