Our client, a fast-moving, successful and growing food company are looking for an experienced Field Sales Executive to join their team in a role incorporating business development and account management.

 

Reporting to the UK Foodservice Country Manager, the ideal candidate will have customer facing experience with the ambition to deliver excellent service to our existing customers and open new accounts.

 

The desire to improve your selling skills, have the ability to work well with customers and colleagues with a team-oriented approach. You will also have the desire and professionalism to represent the company with our customers.

 

The role:

  • Delivery of agreed sales and development plan by managing and developing existing customers in territory and opening new accounts in territory.
  • Develop strong end user relationships.
  • Know your product with a passion for food.
  • Work with Foodservice Manager to implement sales initiatives.
  • Deal with customer queries.
  • Follow up with any payment issues.

You:

  • Foodservice sales experience essential
  • End user relationships experience
  • Passion for the food industry
  • Self motivated.
  • Good computer skills and digitally literate.
  • Working as part of a team with mutual respect.
  • Enthusiasm and drive to do well in your career.
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence

It’s a dynamic business, located in modern offices with a high-grade NPD facility in Dublin; our client is a successful, fast-growing food company managing branded Frozen, Chilled and Ambient ranges which are sourced internationally.
 

The company owns its own portfolio of brands and supplies a range of food products to leading Foodservice, Retail and Industrial customers. Added value Poultry (e.g. breadcrumb coated & marinated), Raw fresh/frozen poultry & seafood products are core ranges along with Added Value/Convenience meat products.

 

Sales are for the most part in Ireland & GB. In addition, Dubai & Singapore sales offices were established in 2011 & 2019 respectively.

 

Our client works with a close network of European and Global supply partners and has NPD & Technical personnel based full-time in Ireland and close to its suppliers’ sites around the world. Their job is to work closely with producer-partners to develop products and monitor adherence to standards.
