We are Kingsland Drinks. We are a premier independent UK supplier of wine and spirits to Grocery Retailers, On and Off-Trade, Wholesale, Travel and Export; covering a wide range of price points from every day drinking to premium ranges served in the finest hotels. Our roots are in Manchester at our Head Office in Irlam, where we started over 60 years ago, our vision is to drive sustainable growth for us and for our customers by being a world-class provider of quality wines and spirits. Times and technologies may have changed, but today we stand for what we’ve always stood for: bringing our customers quality products and outstanding service, responsibly.

As part of our ongoing growth and development, we’re now in the fourth year of a sustained Graduate Recruitment Programme and we’re looking to hire an Engineering Graduate to join our Engineering & Facilities Management team a full-time basis as part of a 2 year training scheme.

You will provide support across our manufacturing site in Irlam, working alongside colleagues and on projects within the factory, installing new machinery and looking at process improvement and resolving any potential issues. This is an excellent entry level role for an ambitious Engineer who, as well as gaining valuable hands-on experience and responsibility (and exposure to plenty of wine as well!!), will also be provided with insights in to the broader manufacturing and distribution of our products and will provide the highest level of continuous development and improvement.

We need a natural self-starter keen to kick-start their career in Engineering in a friendly, supportive and positive business. You’ll be a recent Graduate with a Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical/Process Engineering degree and be looking for a fast paced, fun business to join and grow your career. At Kingsland you need to be a lively, energetic individual capable of diving right in to the role and the business culture, and be someone capable of creating relationships and proactively tackling tasks and opportunities within the role.

As we work with wine, it would be great if you have an understanding or awareness of Control Theory - maybe you've done a module on it as part of your degree or you just understand the principles. It would come in really handy as part of your training and development.
