An International business with a successful meat / protein brands and a growing presence within the food service and export market.

 

The Opportunity:

 

Due to increased success and sales growth, we have a need to develop our Commercial Team. We wish to attract quality candidates at different stages in their careers, so are working within a broad salary range.


Internationally, we are recognised as one of the leading sellers of meat/protein products to various world markets and to UK Food Service B2B companies.

 

Ideal candidates will have a thorough and professional approach to selling and will be able to demonstrate a quality approach to negotiation. An understanding of recent developments within the food service market and how meat provenance is maintained is essential. We are looking for business developers who, whilst recognising that price is important, recognises quality and product confidence is also part of sales success.


Reporting directly into the senior team there will be opportunities to progress your career within this UK based company. This role will cover all aspects of the sales process and work cross functionally with production, logistics, finance and marketing.


To be successful in this role you will require:

 

  • Experience of food service, wholesale and/or export
  • Proven sales success
  • Ability to work cross culturally and spend one week in eight abroad.


We are looking for the best meat account managers from within the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship for international candidates).
