We are seeking a talented and ambitious professional with a proven ability to make things happen and to unlock potential opportunity. This is a pivotal national account management/ business development role at the heart of our award winning and innovative company.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will help develop a business plan and sales strategy that will deliver both profit and growth for a significant part of our business. Targeting new and existing business, you will develop relationships cross functionally, driving sales, ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy as well as leading JBP discussions and negotiations. In addition, you will work with annual promotional plans
An FMCG background that has provided a classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of modern account management
Extensive experience of building and managing business with UK food manufacturers, QSR restaurants, high street restaurant chains
Strong commercial acumen and an awareness of current product and market trends
Excellent selling skills, demonstrating the ability to develop and build business
A track record of launching significant NPD and rebranding
Have the ability and confidence to make sound commercial decisions
An understanding of food import would also be advantageous
