Operating regionally within Europe, the purpose of this role will be to help grow the revenue contribution from service provision including storage, distribution, and packaging within clinical trial area within the wholesale division of this amazing multinational business. The role will split 70% managing relationships with active accounts and 30% business development. Building robust relationships within a targeted base of Healthcare customers including Pharmaceutical manufactures, CRO’s, CMO’s etc. to expand and build a pipeline of new opportunities. This will involve working closely with the Director of Business Development to agree segmentation and prioritisation. Working closely with European countries, to identify and quote for new business. Making sure clients are provided with excellent service through timely response to all issues.
The Ideal Person
will have a degree level education or equivalent in a science, medicine, or business based subject or demonstrable relevant business experience. Previous sales, account management and business development experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, clinical trials, clinical research, CRO, CRA or related industry is essential. Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and under pressure, managing a demanding workload, prioritising effectively and adapting accordingly to an often fast-paced, dynamic environment.
