This
growing food and drink business is looking for an amazing Product Developer to
help them continue with their success with their branded and own label
products. They supply to several large grocery retailers throughout the UK and are
always looking for innovative ideas to drive the business forward.

 

Reporting to the General Manager you will lead the development of new products,
and a range of innovation projects, managing the critical path from ideation
stage through to launch. Working closely with the brand team and key retailers
to identify new opportunities within your category you will organise factory
trials, shelf life and product samples in order to evaluate the commercial
viability of new products. You will cultivate superb relationships with key
customers and understand the complexities of product launches including the
importance of packaging and food safety. You will ensure projects run on time
managing budget and time constraints.

We require
an accomplished innovation professional who is extremely passionate about food,
has solid concept to launch experience along with great technical and
commercial awareness. You must excel in all aspects of NPD, ideally have brand and
own label experience, along with excellent project management skills. You must
also be decisive, proactive have with a strong customer focus and the ability
to influence at all levels.
