Food Service National Account Manager

Salary to £40,000 + car allowance + bonus +benefits

Based South East or North West

Our client is a niche manufacturer of a range of speciality products. Their products are stocked extensively within the grocery and foodservice sector. Due to increased demand from foodservice arena they now require a National Account Manager to drive growth in their business with Catering Customers.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage the main foodservice wholesalers including 3663, Brakes and DBC.  To ensure effective long-term sales growth you will also develop and maintain long-term relationships with the head offices of the high street coffee outlets, main hotel, and restaurant and catering groups. You will implement strategies and promotional activity that will grow their long-term business.

Of graduate calibre, candidates must be able to demonstrate experience and success in the foodservice market and have strong business development skills.  You must possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and numerate skills. Currently you will be a National Account Manager who desires the commercial independence to really make a difference or an ambitious regional Account Manager with the ability to make the next step.
