You will report to the Group Commercial Director. Working closely with our distributors in Germany and Netherlands you will provide leadership for day to day operations within our distributors whilst focussing on the company’s strategy. The primary focus will be to work closely with our distributors in order to lead the development of the sales and national accounts throughout Germany and Netherlands. This will require a strong sales focus at both strategic and tactical levels to develop business with retailers to a mutual advantage.
We are seeking an inspirational and strategic leader with outstanding communication skills who can engage staff to achieve demanding business goals. You will have overall responsibility for the P&L and local activation plan as well as active involvement in the group commercial strategy.
- Effective indirect leadership of the distributor sales teams
- Developing a vision for each customer and strategy to achieve it working with the distributor, including overseeing JBPs,
- Ensure that the investment budget is used strategical to ensure effective returns through individual accounts
- Maximising returns through Category planning and Marketing
- Work with Sales Order Planning to develop forecasting as key KPI
We require senior FMCG sales professionals with a proven track record of success including managing and experience with German or Dutch retailers for example Albert Heijn, Rewe, Edeka or Lidl. You must be able to demonstrate strong and effective negotiation skills backed up with a solid grasp of marketing and category management principles. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and ambitious individuals will find their commitment rewarded with outstanding career opportunities.
German and English fluency is a prerequisite
