Nicky Stapleton
In 2005, Nicky set up The Veritas Partnership with Mike Gorman with the aim of building on their extensive network and personal reputations, coupled with their hunger to deliver sustainable results for their clients.
Prior to this, Nicky had experience in a number of recruitment businesses, including both a fast expanding retained recruitment consultancy and a more boutique organisation, where she specialised in sales and commercial appointments within the consumer goods sector.
Her earlier career encompassed time in a finance role before moving into FMCG sales recruitment.
Steven Livesey
Since joining Veritas, Steven has consolidated his 15 year recruitment industry experience with the successful delivery of many senior and Board-level assignments across some of the biggest names in the industry and with a particular emphasis on sales and marketing roles. This role has also allowed him to significantly develop the product and service offering afforded to clients.
Prior to this, Steven worked for two of the UK’s largest sales and marketing recruitment businesses, successfully heading up divisions specialising in project-led campaigns across the UK and Europe.
All this is underpinned with a science degree from one of Europe’s leading Universities, enhanced with a post-graduate qualification in business management.
Claire Norton
Claire moved to Veritas in 2007 to further develop the marketing offering, as well as supplementing the sales and category management facility. Her strengths are in middle to senior/Board level assignments, delivered with a sharp focus on the correct skill set and culture fit.
Prior to this, her recruitment career spanned a major global search and selection organisation, heading up the research function for a boutique consultancy specialising in sales and marketing, and a full consultancy role recruiting sales, marketing and category management positions within the FMCG sector.
She has also worked in recruitment process outsourcing, where she moved after an early career in product marketing and marketing communications within the consumer and IT sectors.
Mike Gorman
Setting up Veritas with Nicky in 2005, Mike brings considerable expertise and an extensive network within the sales arena, managing graduate recruitment campaigns to senior sales positions.
Before this he was approached to set up a field marketing company before the inevitable call from a headhunter to join a recruitment company in his first resourcing role.
A History graduate, Mike had a successful early career working for Rank Hovis McDougall, before moving to Courage (Scottish & Newcastle) where he spent 12 successful years in both National Accounts and a large off-trade people management role, with a total team in excess of 40 individuals.
